St. Paul’s is the third church on or near the present site. It was built in 1902 for $15,000, four-fifths of which came directly from the miners. It served for many years as the Cathedral of the diocese until the capital of the territory was moved to Whitehorse in 1953 and thus is often referred to as the Pro-Cathedral. It contains a number of interesting historic memorials.

St. Paul’s celebrated 100 years of ministry in August, 2002
