The Anglican Parish of Whitehorse (APW) is a five-congregation Parish, including the Whitehorse churches of Christ Church Cathedral and Church of the Northern Apostles, and the community churches of St. Philip’s, Teslin, St. Saviour’s, Carcross, and St. Christopher’s, Haines Junction.

St. Christopher’s church is a beautiful octagonal log building designed and built by a member of the congregation, Henry Henkel in 1992. The first church was built in the 1950’s. St. Christopher’s serves an ecumenical congregation, all coming together to be part of the family of God.

Our Mission Statement in the form of a prayer:

“Heavenly Father you have called St. Christopher’s church to be a loving and vibrant Christian community within the worldwide Body of Christ. May we love and worship You with all our hearts, minds and souls. May we accept Your Son Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. May Your Holy Spirit empower us to offer our gifts in loving service to you and our neigbour. May our thoughts, prayers and lives be guided by Holy Scripture and nourished by the Sacraments as we proclaim Christ to the world. May all that we do and all that we are be a sacrifice to You as we live in expectant hope of your kingdom.” AMEN.
